The Midsummer Classic – the Major League Baseball All-Star Game is here, meaning two days’ worth of baseball betting opportunities at Brobury Sports and BetUS online sportsbooks
In the All-Star Game itself, the National League team is getting a line of +110 at Brobury Sports (and even odds at BetUS) to win, while the American League is getting a -120 line at both bookmakers. The AL is on a 12-0-1 run in the last 13 years, a decent argument for either side of the money line bet.The over/under on runs scored for the game offered by both Brobury Sports and BetUS is 8.5. In recent years, this game has been quite low-scoring and in should so again in 2010, the year of the pitcher.
Tons of proposition betting is available on Monday’s Home Run Derby as well. To outright win the contest, the four favorites are David Ortiz (5/2), Miguel Cabrera (5/2), Matt Holliday (5/1), and Nick Swisher (5/1). Corey Hart is also getting 5/1 odds at Brobury, but gets a slightly longer 6/1 at BetUS. The best showing any of this year’s contestants has managed was pulled off by Cabrera and Holliday, who have both finished third in the past.
BetUS has a whole lot more on the Home Run Derby, too, including “Longest Home Run in Round 1,” “Winner of Round 1,” and a prop bet on which league the winning player is from.
BetUS is currently offering 155% in total bonuses, including a 60% welcome bonus, upon registration, while Brobury Sports has their special 50% signup bonus for up to $500. Bet on the All-Star Game with a couple of all-star bookmakers!
