Betfair to paint sheep ahead of Rugby World Cup (video)

The Rugby World Cup is about to kick off in New Zealand and Betfair introduced a unique advertising campaign to support the English Team.

Betfair breaks all records with a unique advertising effort, where the renowned online sportsbook targets New Zealand farmers. Betfair is offering a dollar for every sheep, which will be painted with English St. George’s Cross during the World Cup.

Will Greenwood, the 2003 England’s winning center, was behind the campaign, painting his own sheep. He appealed to New Zealand farmers to get involved in the campaign. New Zealand has around 47 million sheep, which could provide for a nice support, given the sheep sign up for the promotion.
