The 2011 Formula One betting season may have become the proverbial race for second place with online sportsbooks odds confirming that Vettel is back to dominant form after an off weekend.
JackpotFinder-approved bookmakers Bodog, Bet365 and Unibet in their Monaco Grand Prix odds figure that battle to be an interesting one at least.
Relatively speaking, the odds on Vettel winning the Drivers Championship for 2011 are actually a bit generous for the punter at Unibet and Bet365, as both are offering a line of 1.25 on the seemingly inevitable back-to-back Vettel titles. One should never believe in a “sure thing” when at the sportsbook, but this seems to be the biggest lock in any sports betting in years.
In Monaco, Vettel is naturally the odds-on favorite, drawing lines of 5/6 at Bodog and Bet365 online sportsbooks, but if you’re thinking about wagering on “Podium Finish” proposition bets, you’ll have to comparison shop a bit.

These “each way” bets at Bodog and Bet365 offer 1/5 the odds for a top three finish; at Bet365, this would give Mark Webber a reasonable line of 1/1 to finish in the money, while Bodog offers a slightly less advantageous 9/10. And a bet on Fernando Alonso in this prop is worth 7/5 and 8/5, respectively.
Any chance for a surprise…? Well, if you like dark horses, Paul Di Resta and Adrian Sutil of the Force India team are as dark as they come. Word has it that this team will be putting all its resources into a decent finish in Monaco and at odds of 500/1 and 1,000/1, respectively, on these two winning, a couple bucks might be investable on these two in “each way” betting.
The tops of the odds tables at three online sportsbooks are listed in the table.
Bet on Sebastian Vettel (or any other driver, if you dare) in the 2011 Monaco Grand Prix at JackpotFinder-approved online sportsbooks; also enjoy in-race live betting at all three outlets.
