NFL sports betting odds week 12

NFL sports betting officially enters the homestretch in week 12, with the ultimate fates of many a team to be decided this week.

Half the pointspreads are at 3.5 points or fewer, making for some intriguing sports betting potential at Bodog, Brobury Sports and BetUS sportsbook.

This week’s marquee games naturally feature pairs of presumed playoff teams looking to strengthen their positions and/or flex a little muscle against fellow contenders: Top of the list are the Atlanta Falcons-Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles-Chicago Bears games. Currently, these are among the top NFC Super Bowl contenders, along with the New York Giants and New Orleans Saints.

In Atlanta, the Falcons and criminally underrated QB Matt Ryan get the benefit of the doubt, with the Green Bay Packers a 1.5-point underdog at Brobury Sports. Brobury is so convinced this’ll be a close one that the online sportsbook is not offering a money line at all. Since one of the most impressive streaks going right now is Ryan and the Falcons’ 13-game home winning streak, Bodog’s money line offering putting Atlanta at 10/13 is quite enticing.

The NFC East-leading Eagles travel to Chicago to take on the NFC North-leading Bears, with Michael Vick and the boys a slightly surprising 3.5-point favorite at BetUS sportsbook. Dah Bears have the first place spot in the North only by dint of tiebreaker, whereas the Eagles must win to avoid dropping into second, thanks to their loss at the New York Giants last week.
