Lord of the Rings becomes Lord of the Reels

The Lord of the Rings is an epic saga about the timeless struggle between good and evil.

The stories are a product of the incredible literary genius of J.R.R. Tolkien, and were recently transformed into an Oscar-winning movie trilogy by filmmaker Peter Jackson.

Now, these stories about the Ring of Power have a new master – Microgaming. In a surprise press release, it was just revealed that Microgaming has forged a deal with Warner Brothers, and will soon be releasing a series of video slots that will use sound clips and images from the films. The games promise to be as incredible as the movies, and will star unforgettable characters like Frodo, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and others.

Microgaming Chief Executive Roger Raatgever said, “We’re excited about creating state of the art video slots from the best movie trilogy of the decade. We look forward to bringing the Lord of the Rings into the online gaming sphere, where our expertise in game quality and speed to market will ensure its success.”
