Mecca Bingo owner Rank Group appoints new group finance director

Rank Group Plc, a renowned British gaming operator, which owns Mecca Bingo among others, appoints new group finance director.

Clive Jennings will join the group in two functions: as the group finance director and as a director of the company. Jennings has already occupied two positions in the group, first as financial controller of Rank’s gaming branch, and then as group financial controller.

The latest management change at Mecca Bingo’s owner comes after Paddy Gallagher, Rank’s finance director resigned in June. His resignation was a result of Rank’s takeover by majority shareholder Guoco.

Chairman and CEO of Rank, Ian Burke, commented: "I am delighted that Clive is joining the board of the Company. With his knowledge of the business, I am confident that he will contribute significantly to the development of Rank in the future."
