Microgaming poker will no longer store hand histories on player computers

The world of online poker is won where millions of dollars are floating around and just about anyone can make a grab for their share.

In order to once again level out the playing field, online gambling software giant, Microgaming, has decided to make a few changes. Two changes were made specifically: player hand histories will no longer be stored on computers and downloaded in bulk, and Microgaming has reassessed the manner in which it distributes rake.

The representatives at Microgaming have made it clear that they have made these changes in order to make play fairer for all players. As of late, many online poker players claim that it seems like those who know what they’re doing are being penalized. The new changes will reward winners appropriately for winning while at the same time giving amateur players more of a change at improving, instead of being hunted by the sharks.

Microgaming is one of the largest software providers in the online gambling industry.
