BetClic Everest group appoints new CEO

BetClic Everest Group, which among others owns Everest Poker, found a replacement for recently departed CEO.

Nicolas Beraud, the previous CEO of the online gambling group, has quit the job a short time ago. The company already found his replacement – Ignicio Martos. Martos was head of an online travel agency Opodo.

According to BetClic Everest executives, Beraud succeeded in development of the group’s range of sports betting, online gaming and online poker offerings. He has been CEO since March 2010, and the company invited him to fill a position on the board.

Beraud commented the departure in a news release: “I will remember what a pleasure it has been in the last six years to experience an adventure that was so out of the ordinary, in the company of enthusiastic and innovative staff, and in a sector where everything was yet to be created…I am grateful to the Board of Directors for its trust in me.”
