Online sportsbooks say Portugal rules UEFA Europe League betting

Four of Europe’s top clubs will see their 2011 UEFA Europa League season end this week as the final quarterfinal matches are held.

SC Braga has the most favorable condition to advance and soccer fans can well imagine that three of the four finalists – not to mention both teams in the championship game – could be Portugalian: Porto and Benfica hold big advantages, if not necessarily favorable odds (27/20 and 37/20, respectively, at Intertops) over Spartak (37/20) and PSV Eindhoven (13/10). Braga hosts Dynamo Kiev with a 1-1 aggregate score and are favored at anywhere from 7/5 at bet365 to 37/20.

On that note, Sportsbook.com offers a „To Reach the Final” proposition bet heavily weighted toward Iberia: The four shortest odds are offered on Porto (7/10), Benfica (17/20), Villarreal (1/1) and Braga (3/1).
