Poker Heaven to send their top player to a live Casinos Austria Poker Tour event in Baden

Poker Heaven is running some impressive promotions during the month of August.

The first is a leaderboard competition which will send the site’s top ranking player to Baden, Germany, for a live poker tournament this autumn. Next, they just introduced special new Head Hunter, Bounty Hunter and Terminator tournaments – check out more details below. Lastly, a €500 Bounty Freeroll tournament is being run to celebrate the one year anniversary of Poker Heaven’s customer service system.

Player Ranking leaderboard competition
Every day during August, Poker Heaven is running a special Player Ranking tournament. These begin at 19:30 GMT, and require a €10 + €1 buy-in. A leaderboard will keep track of the top ranking players from these daily tournaments, and the following leaderboard prizes will be awarded at the end of the month:

1st – 4th place: €2750 Live Event package for Baden tournament
This live tournament starts October 7th, and will be held at the Grand Casino in Baden. It is part of the Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT). The package includes:

• €2000 + €70 Main Event buy-in
• €200 travel money
• €450 room at Grand Hotel Sauerhof from 6th to 9th October
• Deluxe hotel package including sauna and fitness room
• Poker Have goodies

5th – 10th place: €150 cash

The Baden tournament is a 2-day No Limit Texas Hold’em event. The starting stack is 10,000, and the prize pool is expected to exceed €350,000. This Player Ranking competition is a great chance to play like a pro, and to represent Poker Haven at the CAPT.

New Headhunter Tournaments
Poker Heaven is proud to announce the introduction of several new types of tournaments to their regular poker tournament line-up: Head Hunter, Bounty Hunter and Terminator tournaments.

Half of the buy-in for Head Hunter tournaments goes into a regular prize pool. The other half goes into the Bounty prize pool. The Bounty pool is then split among all players – this is the bounty on their head.

When a player knocks another player out of the tournament, they collect that player’s bounty. 75% is won immediately, and the other 25% is added to the bounty of the remaining player. As play continues, bounties increase. The tournament goes until only one player remains.

The Terminator and Bounty Hunter variations work a little differently. These have no regular prize pool. Instead, the entire buy-in is added to the Bounty pool. In Terminator tournaments, when one player knocks out another, they immediately win 100% of that player’s bounty. In Bounty Hunter tournaments, 75% is won, and the remaining 25% is added to the bounty of the remaining player.

The bounty on each player’s head is shown beneath their chip count on the screen. These new tournaments are running every day of the week – check out the schedule at the Poker Haven website for full details.

€500 Bounty Freeroll Tournament
The dedicated in-house Customer Service Team at Poker Heaven has been running for one year. To celebrate this anniversary, the site is holding a special Freeroll on the 31st of August. There will be customer service agents playing in the event, and anyone who knocks one of them out will collect a €50 bounty. The event comes with a €500 prize pool – the top 50 players will all win €10 cash.
