Poker Stars acquires a well-established Spanish poker site

Spanish online poker enthusiasts can soon enjoy online action from the world’s top poker site – Poker Stars, following the giant’s acquisition of a local online poker room.

The recently opened Spanish gambling market seems to attract more and more foreign operators looking to establish their presence on the attractive market. Poker Stars is one of the first operators to purchase a local gambling destination.

Cara de Poker itself was working closely with the Spanish poker coaching website EducaPoker. It used to be a member of iPoker network for a period of 18 months. Cost of the acquisition is not known publically, but experts doubt that it could make a significant dent in Poker Stars budget.
