Top 10 Online Gambling and Casino Commercials - Part II (video)

2010 is coming to a close. JackpotFinder decided it would be amusing to reminisce over advertising campaigns employed by different gambling firms to promote internet poker rooms, internet sportsbooks, internet casinos, and other wagering services.

As we have already started to demonstrate in the first part of top 10 gambling and casino ads, the gambling industry has repeatedly uses laughter to create memorable advertisement campaigns. 

JackpotFinder apologizes if his humor doesn’t agree with your own. While we should warn you that a couple of these were so twisted that they were banned from television by national governments, all of these are “work safe”.

To get the year started right, we now share the best five:

#5. Party Poker produced a series of advertisements about lonely people who have nobody to play poker against doing desperate and crazy things.  In the selected video we see a security officer playing head-to-head against a German Sheppard.  Another advertisement in this series displays a man blowing up an inflatable sex doll.

#4. InterCasino produced a series of commercials ideal for all of us who wanted to be astronauts when we grew up. The premise is simple, but effective: Win a trip to space. In each advertisement we see two people who clearly never could have passed NASA’s rigorous requirements and training sitting in the cockpit of a spaceship. This video was chosen because by (SPOILER ALERT!) pressing the red button, the astronaut demonstrates how little he belongs on this journey. Other ads in the series show them playing the “eye spy” children’s game and humming Blue Danube.

#3. Unibet created a series of advertisements asking players who would they trust for different services. (SPOILER ALERT!) For examples, would you trust a tattoo artist or a cobbler to do your tattoo? Would you trust an anarchist or a bartender to mix your cocktail? Would you trust a burglar or a maid to clean your room? But these are just a few of the hilarious pairings. Watch the video to see more.

#2. Full Tilt Poker. We’ve already mentioned a poker face campaign from Full Tilt, but with this much zanier television ad they’ve taken a different twist. The present advertisement informs us that “Anyone can have a good poker face” while we watch the poker face of a man as (SPOILER ALERT!) he wins a $5 million grand lottery. He subsequently cuts off his finger, receives a blowjob from a sexy woman, and encounters her brutal boyfriend. Then we see him lose the poker face while actually playing poker and the punch-line comes"...but the trick is to know when to use it”.

Finally, our absolute favorite gambling commercial this year:

#1. Poker Stars created an epic commercial which has been censored from Germany because of its extremely violent content. While an announcer provides a very Christian message about loving your enemies, we watch poker players sitting around a table kill each other using increasingly graphic methods (SPOILER ALERT!), starting from a simply Implied poisoning, another man is killed with a shuriken (ninja throwing star), and ultimately a player signals for a military helicopter which flies in firing a chaingun and killing everyone.
