Gnuf.com Review
Gnuf.com is a brand new poker room and casino (soon launching a bingo room too) that was launched at the end of January 2007. It is operated by an experienced staff of former managers who previously worked at other well known gambling sites but have decided to open their own property. So far so good...
Gnuf.com utilizes a system where you need to first register on their website and then proceed to download their poker room or play at their no download casino. After registration I proceeded to deposit funds to my account and was allowed to do so without any glitches! Upon my first attempt of trying to play their instant play GNUF casino I kept getting an Active X installation problem (even though I have it installed). I then tried another way by installing their poker room to my computer first and then launching it to play at their casino. I then realized that since I already have an account on Prima Poker Network (on Prima Poker Network a player cannot have more than 1 account on the whole network to prevent player theft), I cannot even login to play on their casino...So I have sent an email to Gnuf.com boys to try to figure out how to go about this problem. I received a reply from them within 10 minutes asking me EXACT questions to which i couldn't provide EXACT answers as I've downloaded many poker rooms and do not remember on which one i had a prima poker network account. From the next email I was told that GNUF hasn't launched its own independent casino yet but has some casino games available within their poker software.
I just received a notification that GNUF has contacted the Prima Poker Network operators and will get back to me as soon as they receive a reply. I guess I will be back to review this casino and poker room later on - at this point of time all I can say is that the customer support has been very responsive and direct in helping me solve my problem!
Update: 3 days later the whole issue has been resolved and I was able to play. Unfortunately the amount of casino games is very limited within the software as they haven't launched their casino yet. A few casino games are available within the poker section but mostly everything is concentrated on poker. At this point of time all I can say is that the support has been top notch and the software is quite good too. Definitely recommended for all poker players (who haven't played on Prima Network before)!
