The event coverage offered by Betfair is definitely above average. Event categories are access through a menu system on the left side of the screen. The main category that loads first is called “Popular Sports”, listing things like football, golf, and horse racing. Below that, an expandable list called “All Sports” shows what Betfair really has to offer – a massive selection of several dozen categories ranging from fishing and cycling to poker and chess. Players can choose favorite markets and place them in a third area for quick access, or they can use the integrated search box to go straight to the event they are after.

As with many internet sportsbooks, at Betfair the number of wagers offered depends quite a lot on the event. For major international football matches bettors will find several dozen odds and fixtures to choose from, while smaller events might only offer Over/Under or Back & Lay bets. Certain events will also offer Multiple bet coupons for Doubles and Trebles, offering nearly endless accumulator possibilities. For a quick overview of the bets open at any moment, just check out the main section of the sports betting homepage. Alternatively, click on the “Where is the Money?” link at the bottom of the left-side menu to see which odds are currently hot.
