Gambling Sites Accepting Players from USA
As many people are well aware, On 30 September 2006 the US Congress passed the SAFE Port Act which also contained certain provisions known as the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (the Act) that will affect the processing of payments between US customers and online gaming companies.
Some of online gaming sites listed on Jackpot Finder have stopped accepting wagers from US players based on the address listed with the account. Existing accounts at such sites have been closed and money has been refunded. As as a result, we have created a page listing all online casinos, poker rooms, sportsbooks and bingo halls that accept US players.
It is important to note that the new legislation will not criminalize individuals for gambling online. Instead, the bill attempts to prevent financial transactions to online gaming sites.
Effect of US Legislation on Gambling Sites
