It could be argued that the use of AI technology from the part of the online casinos, is not going to be for the benefit of the customer. After all, casinos are businesses and have a duty to make a profit. To that end it's hard to image any scenario where the iGaming industry allows AI to help players get a head of any casino game.

With the combination of poker now being played over the internet online, and the ever-increasing size of the prizes being offered, then it's absolutely no surprise that players are all looking for an edge. This has led to the rise of poker bots, designed to calculate the optimal moves and gameplay in a matter of seconds. Of course, if you know your crafty opponent is using one, then you have no choice but to use a bot yourself. In the end, it'll just be poker bots playing against each other.

As most people are naturally competitive, it's no surprise that, when it comes to console gaming, it appears that almost everyone cheats. This can be by finding information on the internet, or by running bots that do a lot of the work for you. The problem here is that if your opponent is cheating, then you can't win unless you too cheat yourself. And then the whole gaming community starts a downwards spiral of self-destruction. We feel that if casino gamblers could cheat, they would do so too.

Because they monitor how the other players are making their moves, as well as never tiring, eating, sleeping or needing a toilet break, they are pretty much invincible. This can quickly suck all the enjoyment out of a game or tournament. So you need to know how to spot one.

Today it's hard to know if you're playing a real person or a programmed bot in the casino's online poker room. They never tire, never make a mistake and only look for the best possible play in any given situation. And they consistantly win.
