Everyone who ever plays the lottery has a fantasy in the back of their minds whenever they buy and then fill out a ticket. So just how do you increase your chances of winning the Powerball? As you are probably aware, Powerball is a US based lottery run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and is played in 44 states. The game is very easy to play and is very lucrative for both the states and the winners. For example, in 2016, a Powerball record was broken and the prize was a jackpot of $1.58 billion, which was a world record. After taxes, that would have been a payout of over $758 million between the three winning tickets. Of course, the probability of being the winner is very low indeed, you have to keep in mind that someone, somewhere, actually won the prize. As the old saying goes, "You've gotta be in it, to win it!".
