A recently arrested father and his two sons were by far the most "winningest" players in the history of the Massachusetts State Lottery. In fact, they managed to win $21 million over an 8 year period. What they were doing with the lottery isn't illegal as such. They would simply buy winning tickets from those who couldn't afford to pay their State debts, such as child support or outstanding taxes. But they falsified their tax returns to hide their huge profits. Even worse they got tax rebates.

So just how do you increase your chances of winning the Powerball? As you are probably aware, Powerball is a US based lottery run by the Multi-State Lottery Association and is played in 44 states. The game is very easy to play and is very lucrative for both the states and the winners. For example, in 2016, a Powerball record was broken and the prize was a jackpot of $1.58 billion, which was a world record. After taxes, that would have been a payout of over $758 million between the three winning tickets. Of course, the probability of being the winner is very low indeed, you have to keep in mind that someone, somewhere, actually won the prize. As the old saying goes, "You've gotta be in it, to win it!".
