    From very humble and poor beginnings in a small dusty Texas town, Brian Sailor Roberts evolved into one of the best and most feared poker players the world has even known. Learning to play cards at an early age, he was to hone is poker skills whilst serving in the US Navy, where he also picked up the nickname of "sailor." He would become a member of the Texas Road Gamblers who played the Southern Poker Circuit. Later he was to find fame and fortune in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
