    The Constanta Casino was built entirely of wood in 1880. Though exceedingly popular thanks to its casino and the fact it sat on the shoreline of the Black Sea, it was to be almost completely destroyed in 1890 by a storm. fast forwards to 1910, and King Ferdinand opened a new casino on the site.
