It's important that we don't simply dismiss those who are clamouring for a complete ban on all forms of gambling out of hand. Looking at their arguments, it's hard not to see they have some very valid points, especially when it comes to gambling addiction. But all these need to be considered againgst the idea of personal freedom. This includes the choice to do things that might end up having negative consequences. Though the law should protect people, there must be limits on it's interferrence.
