Years ago, before the digital age, casinos were filled with sounds that were authentic. Bells, buzzes and whistles marked lucky gamblers winning at the slots. But most noticeable of all was the incessant metallic sound of nickles and dimes as they were fed into an endless line of flashing slots machines. There was an even greater cacophony when a gambler hit the right reels and a stream of glittering coins cascaded down into the payout tray. Yet today, they are almost all gone.
