Today, you'll hear many religious types harking on how gambling is a mortal sin. They claim that the activity will cause the moral bankruptcy of society. Yet, if we take a closer look at the Bible, we can see very little in the way of guidance or even information about how we should deal with gambling activities. Also, there's no mention of the moral and ethical issues surrounding casino games as well as other forms of betting with real money. It's up to the player's individual interpretation.

Chinese people really love to gamble. Watching them in any casino, and there appears to be something obsessive about their behaviour. So it's no surprise that they rely so heavily on Chinese lucky charms whenever they place a wager. These objects that are imbibed with some sort of winning characteristics are an essential element of gambling for the Chinese. Being very superstitious in their everyday lives, then to see them using all sorts of objects in the casino whilst gaming is only natural.
