With the MCU spitting out yet another superhero fest with the latest Thor movie, many punters like to take bets on both the characters and storylines that might feature. Thor Love & Thunder is the Norse god's fourth standalone film, and after the trailer dropped, many bettors headed off to the online bookies to bet on a huge number of movie predictions. Everything from the number of planets Thor will visit, to the odds of various A_list actors making a cameo appearance at some point.

Trying to work out which Marvel comic character would make the best gambler is no easy task. After all, they all possess their own unique skills and powers. And these could be put to good use when it comes to playing casino gambling games. Yet we can't help but think, that many of them would use these innate abilities in order to cheat. After years of promoting the Marvel MCU, Playtech surprised the whole iGaming industry by leaving them behind and signing up with their largest competitor, DC comics. This meant dumping huge properties including The Hulk, The Avengers, Spiderman and Iron Man to name just a few. But there's a feeling that the MCU is reaching the end of the road. In contrast, the DC universe is just getting started. Its branding is firmly tied around its two biggest box office draws, Batman and Superman.
