At first glance, void bets make no sense. But if you step back and look at the big picture, they are really no different from many other types of bets. Essentially, you're betting on an event not happening. So, if for example, you're betting on a horse race or football match being cancelled by the weather or some other unforeseen event. Some gamblers use void bets as a means of keeping their overall betting losses to a minimum. Be careful using them though, as frequent use will get you banned.
