In many ways, there's a symbiotic relationship at work in the professional arts. For example, after a video game has been out for a few months, you can see the movie studio taking an interest in whether there's cross-over potential. After all, if you already have millions of young people playing the game, then they are ready-made fans of any movie featuring their beloved video game. Unfortunately, they tend to be awful, as translating the playing experience into film often doesn't translate.

When you think about it, it was only a matter of time before video games companies and casinos started working together. Licensing content from third parties is nothing new to the gaming industry, as there are plenty of movie crossovers. But by taking original video games and then adding a new twist, they can appeal to old-school gamers as well as gamblers across the whole spectrum. The games companies and casinos have done a great job of maintaining the original feel of the games.
