Live Quantum Roulette

Live Quantum Roulette takes the standard game of European Roulette and makes it even more exciting. Each time that the ball spins in the wheel, random numbers may be assigned a Quantum Multiplier of up to a massive 500x, meaning that some huge payouts are up for grabs. There are also Quantum Boosts and Quantum Leaps, and these can lead to even bigger winnings.

An Immersive Experience

As with all other live dealer games, in Live Quantum Roulette a croupier is found in an exciting studio and presenting the action as it is all streamed to you in high definition. The gameplay is exciting, as you can witness the special numbers become illuminated to highlight the enhanced payout for the randomly picked numbers. The added social bonus of playing with a live host is not lost while experiencing this exciting roulette variant as if you were at a casino.

Live Quantum Roulette Rules

Quantum Roulette

The game is played in almost exactly the same way as a standard game of European Roulette. The action focuses on a spinning wheel that is split into 37 numbered segments, from 0 to 36 inclusive. A ball is released into the wheel, and you need to bet on which segment it will stop on. However, thanks to the game’s design, there are many different types of bet.

The numbers on the wheel are coloured red or black (except for zero, which is green). Furthermore, the numbers do not run sequentially around the wheel and the game’s betting area has a very specific layout. This creates many different types of bet. For example, in addition to betting on individual numbers, you can also bet groups of numbers that are formed by the layout of the betting area or wheel or on numbers that share characteristics, such as all the odd or even numbers.

The Basics

The basic Roulette bets are:

  • Straight Up: A bet on an individual number.
  • Split Bet: A bet on two adjacent numbers on the betting area.
  • Street Bet: A bet on three numbers in a vertical line (a street) on the betting area.
  • Corner Bet: A bet on four numbers that meet on the betting area.
  • Four Bet: A bet on the numbers 0, 1, 2 and 3.
  • Line Bet: A bet on six numbers, two streets that are adjacent to one another on the betting area.
  • Column Bet: A bet on the twelve numbers in any horizontal line on the betting area.
  • Dozen Bet: A bet on the first, second or third group of 12 numbers (1-12, 13-24 and 25-36).
  • Red/Black Bet: A bet on the ball landing on a particular colour.
  • Even/Odd Bet: A bet on all the even or odd numbers.
  • Low/High Bet: A bet on whether the ball will land on a low or high number (1 – 18 or 19 – 36).

Race Track Betting Area

There is a second betting area called the Racetrack. It allows you to place some standard, but complex, betting patterns very quickly:

  • Voisins du Zero: A bet on the neighbours of 0 on the wheel, it includes every number between 22 and 25.
  • Tier: A bet on the area of the wheel opposite 0, the bet covers about a third of the wheel between 33 and 27.
  • Orphelins: A bet on the numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31 and 9.
  • Zero: A bet on seven numbers surrounding zero on the wheel

In addition to the two betting areas, there is a special bets shortcut to place Final, Complete Bets and Half Complete bets:

  • Final Bet: This is a bet on all the numbers that share the same last number. For example, a final bet on the number 5 would place chips on 5, 15, 25 and 35.
  • Complete Bet: This covers all the betting positions associated with a certain number. The bet consists of a Straight Bet, Split Bet, Corner Bet, Street Bet and Line Bet.
  • Half-Complete Bet: This covers the same betting positions as the Complete bet, but without the Street and Line Bets.

Simply place your chips on the relevant segments on the betting area. When the betting time is up, the croupier will release the ball within the wheel. The ball will come to a stop and then you are paid out for any winning bets.

Live Quantum Roulette Payouts

The game offers the standard Roulette payouts. The smallest payout is 1:1 for betting on large groups of numbers, such as the Reds, Blacks, Odds or Evens. Column and Dozen bets payout at 2:1, Line bets payout at 5:1, Corner bets payout at 8:1, Street bets payout at 11:1, Split bets pay at 17:1, and Straight Up bets offer the largest payouts of 35:1.

Features

Quantum Multipliers, Boosts and Leaps

Random numbers may be assigned a Quantum Multiplier of 50x, 100x, 150x, 200x, 250x, 300x, 400x or 500x at the start of each round. If you have placed a straight up bet on one of these numbers and the ball lands on it, then you will win your bet times that multiplier. Occasionally the multipliers can receive a Quantum Boost and be increased by a further 50, while if a Quantum Leap occurs then they may be doubled or tripled, which could lead to some huge winnings.

Live Quantum Roulette Gameplay

Live Quantum Roulette is definitely worth trying out if you enjoy a standard European roulette variant that has a special bonus element that contains lucrative multipliers of up to 500 times your stake.

Quantum Roulette Instant Play

Quantum Roulette Instant Play is a roulette variant from Playtech. The fixed odds betting game features a 3D roulette wheel and up to five numbers that could potentially have a multiplier of 500 times. The roulette game has an RTP of 97.30%.

How to play Quantum Roulette Instant Play

The rules of Quantum Roulette Instant Play are similar to traditional roulette. However, the variant also has a few special features. Before a round starts, players can choose their stake through chips that are placed on the left-hand-side of the screen. The chip sizes range from 0.01 to 100. Once the player has chosen their stake, they can begin placing bets on individual numbers, ranges of numbers or outside bets such as red or black.

Once all bets are placed, the player can click on the ‘Spin’ button on the right-hand-side of the screen. This puts the 3D wheel above the betting table in action by releasing the ball. Once the ball lands, the result of the round is determined. If the player has won, the profit is added to the player’s account automatically.

Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play

Quantum Blackjack

Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play is one of the most exciting blackjack variants from Playtech. The multi-hand blackjack variant is played with six decks of cards and allows players to command up to five hands simultaneously. Additionally, the game also has the Player/Dealer Pairs and 21+3 side bets as well.

Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play has an RTP of 99.84% whilst the 21+3 side bet has an RTP of 95.38% and the Player/Dealer Pairs has an RTP of 93.89%.

How to play Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play

Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play uses the same standard rules as the majority of blackjack games. The aim of the game is to form a hand that is as close to 21 as possible without going bust (exceeding 21). By going bust, the hand automatically loses. If the player’s hand is stronger than the dealer’s, the player wins the round.

All numbered cards keep their face value while face cards are worth 10. The picture cards include Jack, Queen and King. All Aces can be worth either 1 or 11, depending on the other cards in your hand. The strongest possible hand in the game is ‘Blackjack’, which is won by holding an Ace with a 10-value card. Blackjack defeats all other hands, except for a dealer Blackjack, in which case, the stake is returned back to the player as a push.

To start a round of Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play, the player must first place their stake using chips found at the left-hand-side of the screen. Once placed, the player should click on the ‘Deal’ button on the right-hand-side.

The dealer then serves two face-up cards to the positions that have been bet on and takes a face-up and face-down card themselves. If the dealer is revealing an Ace, the player can place an ‘Insurance bet’. This costs half of the player’s stake and pays 2:1 if the dealer has Blackjack. If the dealer does not have blackjack, the round continues as usual.

Actions

Once the player has their two face-up cards, they can choose one of the following actions:

  • Stand – by choosing to stand, the player does not receive any additional cards and keep their hand as it is.
  • Hit – by choosing to hit, the player receives an additional card. There is no limit on how many cards the player can receive, but they must be cautious not to go bust.
  • Double – by choosing to double, the player receives a single additional card and immediately stands. In doing so, the player doubles their wager.
  • Split – by choosing to split, the player decides to split a pair into two separate hands. In doing so, the player doubles their bet and plays the two hands separately.

In Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play, the dealer always draws a card on 16 or lower and stands on 17 or higher. All wins are paid out at 1:1 except for Blackjack or wins that have a special multiplier.

If the dealer busts with three cards, the player’s stake is returned as a push, unless the player has a special win that has a multiplier card. In that case, the player is paid the push amount that is multiplied by the win multiplier. If the dealer busts with three cards but the player has Blackjack, the player is paid out at 3:2.

The 10-card Charlie rule is applicable in Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play. Whenever the player draws 10 cards to a single hand without going bust, they automatically win, regardless of the total. The only instance when the player still loses a 10-card Charlie is if the dealer has Blackjack.

Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play Win Multiplier

Once the player has set their stake and clicks on the ‘Deal’ button, between three and five special cards are randomly selected from the deck. The special cards can have a multiplier of x2.5, x3, x5 or x10 attached.

In addition, there are two special rounds that can trigger randomly before any round. These two rounds are known as the Quantum Power and Quantum Ultra rounds.

  • Quantum Power – when this special round is triggered, five special cards are selected with a x200 multiplier attached to all cards.
  • Quantum Ultra – when this special round is active, one special card is selected with a x1,000 multiplier attached.

Whenever you win a round with more than one special card, your bet is multiplied by the value of the win multiplier added together.

Quantum Blackjack Plus Instant Play Side Bets

In this Playtech variant, players can wager on two separate side bets. The side bets include the Player/Dealer Pairs and 21+3. Below, we take a look at them individually.

Player/Dealer Pair

The Player/Dealer Pair side bet pays out if either the players two initial cards or the dealer’s two cards are pairs. The player will have to bet on either the Player Pair or Dealer Pair individually. Depending on the combination, the payout will vary:

  • A Mixed Pair is a pair of cards with different colours (red and black). It pays 6:1
  • A Colour Pair is a pair that has the same colour but different suits (Club/Spade or Diamond/Heart). It pays 12:1
  • A Perfect Pair is two identical cards. It pays 25:1.

21+3

The 21+3 side bet pays when forming combinations using the player’s two face-up cards and the dealer’s face-down card. The payouts include:

  • A Flush is when all three cards have the same suit. It pays 5:1
  • A Straight is when all three cards follow numerical order. It pays 10:1
  • A Three of a Kind is when all three cards have the same value. It pays 30:1
  • A Straight Flush is when all three cards are suited and follow numerical order. It pays 40:1
  • A Suited Three of a Kind is when all three cards are identical. It pays 100:1
