A few years ago, the first online VR casino opened. It was, quite frankly, unplayable, being slow and clunky. Fast forwards to today and VR casinos still have their diehard supporters who believe that this technology will change the face of online gambling. But we're not so sure, as there are considerable problems with the platform. For a start, you need a specialist and a very expensive headset.

Technology is always on the search for new markets. And for virtual reality, maybe gambling could be one of those. But gamblers are a funny bunch and virtual reality brings nothing to enhance the gambling experience.
